JAKARTA - Microsoft has just made a surprising innovation. In September, the company will launch the Microsoft Teams feature as a walkie-talkie that can be used on all devices.

With this new feature, Microsoft aims to help reduce the number of devices users have to carry while providing the necessary security.

"This functionality, built natively into Teams, reduces the number of devices employees have to carry, and lowers costs for IT. Unlike analog devices with insecure networks, users no longer have to worry about crosstalk or external eavesdropping," said Microsoft as quoted from TechRadar, Thursday, July 15.

"Because the Walkie Talkie works over Wi-Fi or cellular data, this capability can be used across all geographic locations."

Previously, Samsung had also showcased how to use the new Microsoft Teams feature with the powerful Galaxy XCover Pro without even unlocking the phone, as users can access it via programmable buttons on the phone.

To add to the experience of the Team walkie-talkie feature, users can use a wireless headset. Meanwhile, to operate it, the user must first open the application on the smartphone and look for the Walkie Talkie icon in the navigation bar.
