BANDA ACEH - Investigator of the Lhokseumawe District Attorney's Office (Kejari), Aceh, again confiscated Rp483.4 million from the former Director of Arun Hospital with the initials S, who is suspected of being a flow of funds for a corruption case at PT Arun Lhokseumawe Hospital.

Head of the Special Crimes Section of the Lhokseumawe Prosecutor's Office, Saifuddin, said that with the return or confiscation of the flow of corruption funds, the total state money that had been saved reached Rp. 8.6 billion.

"Currently, the total refund of state money that has been received by the investigating prosecutor team in the corruption case of PT Arun Lhokseumawe Hospital has so far reached Rp8.6 billion. This figure is still very far from the total state loss of Rp44.9 billion," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, May 25.

Saifuddin asked whoever received the flow of corruption funds from PT Arun Lhokseumawe Hospital to immediately return the money.

"To all parties, both individuals and corporations who feel that they have received the flow of funds to immediately return them. Otherwise, the prosecutor's team of investigators has their own way of tracing the funds," he said.

Previously, Lhokseumawe Kejari investigators had named two main suspects in connection with the alleged corruption of PT Arun Lhokseumawe Hospital with state losses reaching Rp44.9 billion.

The two suspects are the President Director of PT RS Arun Lhokseumawe Hariadi and former Mayor of Lhokseumawe Suaidi Yahya. The two suspects are currently being held at the Lhokseumawe Class II A Prison with the status of prosecutors.
