The Amblas Train Line, 1,500 Passengers Of The Tanjungkarang Lampung Railway Failed To Depart

BANDARLAMPUNG - PT KAI Divre IV Tanjungkarang said that there were around 1,500 prospective passengers affected by the cancellation of the train travel schedule due to the sinking of one of the lanes at KM 206+0/2 plots of the route between Gilas - Sepancar on Friday, April 28.

"In our estimation, there are around 1,500 prospective passengers from four train trips that were canceled due to the sinking of the train line at KM 206+0/2," said the Daily Executive of Public Relations Manager of PT KAI Divre IV Tanjungkarang, M Reza Fahlevi, quoted by ANTARA, Friday, April 28.

He also said that after the incident his party was trying to improve the normalization of the railway line that had collapsed.

PT KAI Divre IV Tanjungkarang also ensured that ticket returns or refunds would be made 100 percent to prospective passengers affected.

"PT KAI Divre IV Tanjungkarang also provides an opportunity for prospective passengers to return ticket fees or refunds until D+3 after the cancellation of train departures," he said.

He also asked prospective passengers to immediately disburse ticket fees, because until now there has been no rescheduling policy for re-department.

"The ticket return system can be done at the nearest departure station or station. So we suggest prospective passengers to immediately return tickets," he said.

According to him, after the announcement of the cancellation of departure, the response of prospective passengers who failed to depart was good and understood the conditions.

"The cancellation of this departure had to be carried out in order to prioritize the safety of the passengers. So we made the decision to cancel the train trip, because with such conditions what is feared is the safety of passengers," he said.
