JAKARTA - The City Government of Palangka Raya, Central Kalimantan, through the Trade Office of the local Industry Small and Medium Enterprises Cooperative has threatened to revoke the operational permits of 3 kg LPG agents and bases if they sell higher than the highest retail price (HET) that has been set. Head of the Trade Office of the Palangka Raya City Small and Medium Enterprises Cooperative (DPKUKMP) Samsul Rizal said that currently the joint team from the city government and Pertamina representatives in Palangka Raya found that the price of LPG in retail was quite high, namely Rp. 35 thousand-Rp. 40 thousand per tube. "Some of them do not want to admit to taking the 3 kg LPG in agents or bases, they admit that they get the gas from retailers so it costs a lot," he said in Palangka Raya, Antara, Thursday, April 27. Seeing this problem, Samsul did not hesitate to revoke the operating permit of 3 kg LPG agents or bases selling above HET of IDR 22 per tube, while HET in Rakumpit District was IDR 24 thousand per tube. The joint team carried out by the joint team from Satpol PP, DPKUKMP, Regional Secretariat of Palangka Raya City, Menteng Village and Pertamina aim to reduce the high selling price of LPG at the retail level. "At least this inspection can be used as material for our evaluation to find out what causes LPG at the retail level. Later we will discuss this with Pertamina. Then which agents and bases are 'naughty' will definitely revoke their operational permits so that they can no longer try," he explained. "In 2022, Pertamina will conduct PHU on four agents or 3kg LPG bases in Palangka Raya City. As for 2023, there is no one yet, but if any, it will be seen where the error came from in accordance with the applicable regulations," said Edi.
