KENDARI - Southeast Sulawesi (Sultra) Provincial Government prohibits the use and flight of drones or the like on April 26 and 27, 2023. The prohibition is contained in the Circular Letter of the Regional Secretariat of the Southeast Sulawesi Provincial Government Number: 400.14.1.1/2224 concerning Submission of Prohibition Using Drones or Similar On April 26-27, 2023, which was signed by the Regional Secretary or Secretary of the Southeast Sulawesi Province, Asrun Lio. The circular stated that the ban was issued because of an air attraction performance carried out by the Indonesian Air Force (AU) at the peak of the celebration of the Birthday (HUT) of Southeast Sulawesi Province. "In commemoration of the 59th Anniversary of Southeast Sulawesi Province, one of the series of activities at the peak event was an air attraction performance by the Indonesian Air Force," wrote the circular quoted from Antara, Wednesday, April 26.
