SEMARANG Regency - Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo built a functional rest area on the Semarang-Solo toll road to facilitate the flow of homecoming and the return of Eid 2023.

This functional rest area is located at KM 444b, precisely on the toll road between Bawen and Salatiga. The rest area is still in the construction process, but it is temporarily used to serve travelers.

In rest area 444b, there are also public toilets, modular Public Fuel Filling Stations (SPBU), to Public Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (SPKLU).

"So if you're tired, you can stop by. There's also SPKLU here. So if you use an electric car, you can rest while scathing," said Ganjar.

In addition to the complete facilities, Ganjar said that the view in this rest area is very suitable for travelers to enjoy when they are tired of traveling. The reason is, there is a panorama of Mount Ungaran that cools the eyes.

"The place is good, the view is good, to the left you can see Mount Ungaran, if you go to the right you can see durian trees. Hopefully it can go well, people who go home when they are tired can rest here," said Ganjar.

After the flow of homecoming and return is complete, Ganjar said that the Central Java Provincial Government will build a permanent integrated rest area at the same point with a total land area of seven hectares.

"It continues (its function after the homecoming period) because we have received the allocation of this area. Including all permits, so we want to use it as a real rest area," said Ganjar.
