JAKARTA - Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf) Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno revealed that investment in the tourism sector and the creative economy in the capital city of Nusantara (IKN) reached Rp5.3 trillion. "We also hope that before August 2024 celebrations from the day of our independence, then we have a five-star hotel in IKN," he said.
He also said that the total GDP in East Kalimantan in 2023 reached IDR 524 trillion, from this achievement tourism has contributed IDR 9.14 trillion, followed by an creative economy of IDR 29.43 trillion.
