"In the meantime, we have processed three cases", said Banyumas Police Chief Commissioner M Firman L Hakim in Purwokerto, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, July 27.

According to him, his party took firm action because the activities carried out by the community had the potential to cause crowds.

"Activities that have the potential to cause crowds cannot be (held) because after all, they will cause clusters (of COVID-19 transmission)", he said.

Meanwhile, Head of Criminal Investigation Unit for Banyumas Police Commissioner Berry said the three cases consisted of violating the curfew by two cafes in Purwokerto and organizing a birthday party at one of the five-star hotels in Purwokerto during the PPKM period.
