12 State-Owned Enterprises Injected With State Capital Participation Rp72.449 Trillion, Here's The List
JAKARTA - Commission VI of the DPR held a meeting with the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir. This meeting discussed the contribution of SOEs in supporting the prevention of the COVID-19 pandemic and the amount of State Capital Participation (PMN) given to 12 state-owned companies.
"Commission VI of the Indonesian House of Representatives approved the state capital investment in cash amounting to Rp72.449 trillion," said the chairman of the meeting, Bima Arya, Wednesday, July 14.
Bima said that further discussions would be carried out during the session after the financial note for the 2022 fiscal year was submitted by President Joko Widodo at a plenary meeting.
During the meeting, Erick said that the support for state equity participation (PMN) must be addressed with the view that the majority of PMNs are indeed government project assignments that have been carried out.
"Of course we emphasize once again that the majority of these PMNs are assignments that have been carried out before we were all here (serving as ministers). But we must complete according to the mandate of the meaning of this assignment," said Erick.
Furthermore, Erick said that this PMN was used to ensure this infrastructure could run well. This is because it is the foundation for future economic development.
Erick said that for this year, the need for additional PMN 2021 reached Rp33.9 trillion, namely for PT Waskita Karya Tbk (WSKT) of Rp7.9 trillion, PT KAI (Persero) of Rp7 trillion, and PT Hutama Karya (Persero) or HK of Rp19 trillion.
Meanwhile, for PMN in 2022, the total will reach Rp72.449 trillion for 12 state-owned companies. Here are the details:
