PDIP Deposits Its Candidates To Be Supported By PKB In The East Java Regional Head Election
JAKARTA - PDIP DPP chairman Eriko Sotarduga talked about his party coalition plan with PKB in the Jakarta Pilkada and East Java Pilkada. He suspects that PDIP can nominate governors in East Java if it supports candidates promoted by PKB to run for the Jakarta gubernatorial election.Initially Eriko alluded to the acquisition of PDIP and PKB seats in the Jakarta DPRD. Combined, according to Eriko, the two parties could carry the cagub and cawagub in the 2024 Jakarta Pilkada."We cannot go forward alone, we 15 seats still lose 10 seats. So, I ask, PKB approximately 10 seats. Is it enough for PKB and PDI Perjuangan? That's enough, right," said Eriko at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Tuesday, June 25."This is an assumption first, so that we understand. Now 25 seats are enough," he continued.Eriko then conjectured that the PDIP and PKB cooperation in Jakarta would also continue in the East Java Pilkada. Where PDIP can nominate the cagub and supported by PKB."Say that in Jakarta, for example, assuming PKB becomes the cagub. Can it be in East Java, PDIP, which is the cagub? Yes, right," he said.Eriko dismissed his party using the politics of 'exchange of goods'. Because PDIP will support Anies Baswedan who was nominated by PKB in the Jakarta Pilkada as long as he can apply for a cagub in East Java."It's not bartering, but that's what's called cooperation, right, we can't work together, it's winning, we want to be alone, say we apply our own egos, because we can't go forward alone, that's the most important thing, it can be like that," continued Eriko.
"Well, we could be with PKB. Here PKB is the deputy governor, we are governors. In East Java we are the deputy governors, right, this can be done, this is something that can be discussed and the time is still there," he said again.
