Bogor BPBD Evacuates 7 Students Affected By Collapse Of High School Buildings: 4 People To Hospitals, 3 Others To North Korean Drivers
BOGOR - The Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Bogor Regency, West Java, evacuated seven students from the rubble of the SMA Negeri 1 Ciampea building in a condition of injuries."The victim, who was injured by seven people, four people were rushed to Leuwiliang Hospital and three others were taken to a serializer in the school area," said Head of Emergency and Logistics (Ratik) BPBD Bogor Regency M Adam Hamdani in Ciampea, Antara, Thursday, March 14.The victims suffered various injuries due to falling debris, ranging from bruises, abrasions to cuts on the skin due to being hit by light steel.He explained that the victims were students of class XI - 9 SMAN 1 Ciampea. When the roof of the classroom collapsed, 31 students in class XI - 9 were holding learning activities."The number of students is 36 people, who did not enter five people. The number of students in the class at the time of the incident was 31 people," he said.Adam explained that the roof of the SMAN 1 Ciampea building collapsed at 10.55 WIB triggered by heavy rains that flushed the Bogor Regency area since early Thursday morning.Currently, the BPBD team is still searching for student belongings buried under the rubble of the roof of the building, such as two cellphones and a bag.
"The situation is not yet conducive because the collapsed class building structure has not completely collapsed, the pillars of the classroom structure still look broken and the results of decisions from the police and collapsed class building schools will be investigated first and cannot be cleaned," said Adam.
