ウリー・リュー・バンダ・アチェで車の中で姦淫を犯した若者が21回殴られた

BANDA ACEH - Banda Aceh District Attorney (Kejari) together with Satpol PP and Wilayatul Hisbah (WH) Banda Aceh executed a caning sentence (uqubat) against two perpetrators who were proven to have made efforts or adultery, 21 times each.

"Both of them violated Article 25 paragraph (1) of Aceh Qanun Number 6 of 2014 concerning Jinayat Law, namely the act of endeavoring," said Head of Pidum Kejari Banda Aceh Isnawati as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, June 7.

The uqubat caning procession against adultery perpetrators, namely male M (24), a resident of Aceh Besar and female RO (23), a resident of Central Aceh, took place at the Banda Aceh Bustarussalatin (sariman) park.

Isna explained that based on the decision of the Banda Aceh Sharia Court, each perpetrator received 25 lashes, then reduced the temporary detention period that had been served for 4 months or 91 days (the cage).

"The detention period of each convict was sentenced to 21 lashes, previously each of them had been placed in detention M at the Kjhu and RO detention centers in Lhoknga Prison," he said.

The case of the non-muhrim couple occurred on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at 15.30 WIB. The permit was carried out in an Avanza car parked at Ulee Lheue Port, Meuraxa District, Banda Aceh City.

"They were arrested by Satpol PP officers and Wilayatul Hisbah, Banda Aceh City while patrolling the area," said Isnawati.
