JAKARTA - The South Jakarta District Court (PN) held the inaugural trial of the defendants Mario Dandy Satriyo (20) and Shane Lukas (19) in the case of persecution of David Ozora (17).

Public Relations Officer of the South Jakarta District Court, Djuyamto, said that the agenda for this first trial was to read out the indictment by the public prosecutor (JPU), the trial was scheduled to take place around 11.00 WIB.

"The trial at 11.00 WIB, took place in the main courtroom of the South Jakarta District Court," said Djuyamto as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, June 7.

The trial was chaired by a panel of judges appointed by the South Jakarta District Court leadership, namely Alimin Ribut Sujono, as chairman, Tumpanuli Marbun as member judge I and Muhammad Ramde as member judge II.

In this inaugural trial, said Djuyamto, the South Jakarta District Court did not provide special security. However, his party has coordinated with the public prosecutor and the South Jakarta Metro Police regarding security on the day of the trial.

"There is no special security, but it will be carried out according to the situation and conditions or the escalation of the security of the trial," he said.

As for the coverage of the trial, Djuyamto said the situation and conditions were the same as coverage during the Ferdy Sambo trial. The courtroom is filled with visitors to the hearing according to the seating capacity.

The case of the two defendants has been registered at the South Jakarta District Court with numbers: 297/Pid.B/2023/PN.Jkt.Sel and No.298/Pid.B/PN.Jkt.Sel.

Mario (20) and Shane (19) were two defendants in the persecution of David Ozora (17) on Monday (20/2), including involving AG's son (15) as a child in conflict with law (ABH). Mario's case of abuse attracted public attention because of his showing off that dragged his father, Rafael Alun Trisambodo, former Head of the General Section of the South Jakarta II DJP Regional Office, who was named by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) as a suspect in the crime of money laundering (TPPU).
