High Target Eri Cahyadi, 1,000 Surabaya City Government Assets Must Be Certified In 2023

Surabaya Mayor Eri Cahyadi targets 1,000 assets belonging to the local city government (Pemkot) to be certified by 2023."Hopefully everything can be finished by the end of this year," said Cak Eri, Eri Cahyadi's nickname in his statement in Surabaya, East Java, Antara, Friday, June 2.According to him, as many as 1,000 assets belonging to the Surabaya City Government have been submitted to the National Land Agency (BPN) or the Surabaya Land Office I and II Surabaya for certification. Of these, 463 assets have been certified.Cak Eri stated that he was committed to certifying all assets belonging to the Surabaya City Government. Moreover, one of the assessment parameters of the Monitoring Center for Prevention (MCP) of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is asset certification."Alhamdulillah, all land certificates in the city of Surabaya have been entered into BPN, so we are just waiting for the certificate results from BPN," he said.Data from the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD) of Surabaya City noted that the Surabaya City Government received 463 certificates with details of 157 asset certificates from the Surabaya I Land Office and 306 asset certificates from the Surabaya II Land Office.Cak Eri said that in 2023 development priorities will focus on improving people's welfare. Mainly through the Labor Intensive Program and the empowerment of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs)."The Labor Intensive Program is run by utilizing the assets of the Surabaya City Government and prioritizing workers from poor families who are not yet working. In the end, products from the Labor Intensive Program are fully utilized by the city government for the purpose of building the city of Surabaya," he said.Cak Eri said that currently 34 Labor Intensive Houses have been established in 14 sub-districts. Meanwhile, as of April 2023, 2,822 poor and pre-poor people have been involved in the Labor Intensive Program with the highest income reaching IDR 4,463,000 per person per month.
The Labor Intensive Program is in the form of cafes, sewing centers, laundry, vehicle washing, repairs of Rutilahu (Uninhabitable Houses), cultivation of agriculture and livestock, rumah maggots, to making paving.
