"Miqot in Beer Ali is limited to 30 minutes, therefore we urge him to take a shower and wear an ihrom cloth at their respective hotels provided that the clothes are not sewn for men and women wearing clothes as usual for ihram and are trying to save time," said Head of Madinah Working Area Zaenal Muttaqin, in Medina reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, May 31.
Scheduled starting Thursday, June 1, pilgrims from Indonesia will depart from Madinah to Mecca to carry out mandatory Umrah with waqat at Beer Ali. It is estimated that the travel time from Medina to Beer Ali is around 15 minutes and moreover, some are canceled, so they can take ablu at Beer Ali.
"For healthy pilgrims and their condition allows for circumcision prayers, please, but for the elderly and unhealthy, the intention is to stay on the bus. Even when the congregation forgets the intention and bus is on the road, as long as it is still in the Bir Ali area or dzulhulaifah, they are welcome to read their intentions.
Regarding readiness, Zaenal explained, his party had made a number of preparations to start providing Hajj rituals, visits, and education to the hajj health sector and clinics for pilgrims who were still sick.
"We have also coordinated with the Ministry of Hajj of Saudi Arabia to process passports and permits for Hajj trips, because there will be 43 buses for pilgrims on the first day from Medina to Mecca. On the first day there were five groups, 1,899 pilgrims from Indonesia to Mecca," said Zaenal Muttaqin.
