2 BPDバリの従業員の殺人犯ミラ・レスタリは18年と20年の刑を宣告された

DENPASAR - Denpasar District Court Judge, Bali, handed down a different verdict against two suspects in the murder of Bank BPD Bali employee Gusti Agung Mirah Lestari (42).

Chief Judge I Wayan Suarta decided that Nova Sandi Prasetya (32) was sentenced to 18 years in prison and Rahman (29) to 20 years in prison.

"The defendant was sentenced to 20 years in prison," said the Panel of Judges when reading the verdict against the defendant Rahman as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, May 30.

According to the judge's consideration, the defendant Rahman acted as the executor in the murder of Gusti Mirah even though he was free from the primary guidance of the Public Prosecutor regarding premeditated murder.

Another thing that burdens the defendant Rahman in the judge's decision is his actions to disturb the public and traumatize the victim's family. In addition, Rahman is a recidivist involved in a theft case.

Meanwhile, the defendant Nova Sandi Prasetya, the judge, gave a verdict two years lower than the demands of the Public Prosecutor.

"Freeing the defendant from the primary indictment. Sentenced him to 18 years in prison," said the panel of judges in their ruling.

Nova Sandi Prasetya was also released from the prosecutor's demands regarding premeditated murder. Previously, Public Prosecutor Imam Ramdhoni in his charge charged the two defendants with 20 years in prison.

However, this was considered by the Panel of Judges based on legal facts in the trial so that the two defendants were sentenced to different sentences.

The case of Gusti Mirah's death was revealed after his body was found in a ditch on Jalan Raya Denpasar-Gilimanuk, precisely in the Banjar Sumbersari area, Melaya Village, Jembrana Regency on August 28, 2022.

In the prosecution's demands, Imam Ramdhoni, it was revealed that the motive of the two perpetrators to kill the victim, Gung Mirah, began with the defendant Nova Sandi's desire to control the car belonging to his girlfriend. The defendant Nova Sandi also contacted the defendant Rahman and conveyed his intention.

Defendant Rahman was also willing to help and said he would follow Bali after getting a salary because at that time he was still working in oil palm plantations.

On August 19, 2022, Rahman arrived in Bali and was picked up by Nova Sandi at the Sukawati market, Gianyar and began planning plans to carry out the plan.

On Sunday, August 21, 2022 at around 10:00 WITA, the defendant Nova Sandi contacted victim Gung Mirah and asked him to be picked up where he was.

The three of them also drove around in several places and had time to eat at a restaurant. However, on the way home Rahman smothered his mouth and strangled the victim and strangled the victim by using the victim's bag rope to death.

After confirming that the victim had died, the two of them dumped it on the side of the Denpasar-Gilimanuk highway. However, after an investigation was carried out, the Bali Police Jatanras team moved quickly to several cities until finally the two perpetrators were caught.
