Acting Governor Of DKI Asks Dispora To Pay Attention To Ragunan's PPOP Facilities
JAKARTA - Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono asked his staff, especially the DKI Jakarta Youth and Sports Service (Dispora) to always pay attention to the quality of facilities and infrastructure at the Student Sports Training Center (PPOP) in Ragunan, South Jakarta.
This is to ensure the feasibility of facilities for athletes who will face the 2023 National Student Sports Week (POPNAS) in South Sumatra from August 26 to September 4, 2023.
"Next I entrust the building. Here (the treatment) is quite good (please) care for it. This will give enthusiasm for athletes to practice. With good facilities and infrastructure, it will motivate them to show their best action while practicing in any sport (sports)," said Heru after reviewing the Student Sports Training Center (PPOP) in Ragunan, South Jakarta reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, May 23.
Together with the Head of the DKI Jakarta Youth and Sports Agency (Dispora) Andri Yansyah, Heru visited several training places for student athletes from the taekwondo sport, weightlifting, table tennis, athletics, to aquatics.
During his visit, Heru hoped that the athletes would take advantage of the facilities prepared by the DKI Provincial Government to train and prepare well so that later they would get maximum results.
"Today I and the Head of Youth and Sports Visit a student training center where there will be a POPNAS in a few months. Therefore, we hope that hopefully we can get achievements according to the targets that will be carried out," said Heru.
