Jokowi Receives State Visit From Iranian President At Bogor Palace
BOGOR - President Joko Widodo welcomed the state visit of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi, at the Bogor Presidential Palace, West Java.
President Ebrahim Raisi and his delegation arrived at the Bogor Palace at around 10.30 WIB, Tuesday, May 23, accompanied by the Nusantara Troops, Equestrian Troops, and the Music Corps of the Presidential Security Forces (Paspampres).
After being greeted by President Jokowi, the welcoming procession was then continued with a welcoming ceremony with the listening of the national anthem of the two countries and accompanied by a 21-time cannon boom.
After the cannon boom was completed, the two leaders then carried out inspections of the honorary forces.
The two leaders then introduced delegates from each country who were also present at the ceremony.
After introducing each other's delegates, President Jokowi then invited President Ebrahim Raisi to take a photo together and sign a state guest book in the Lotus Room, Bogor Palace.
The two leaders then headed for the homepage for a moment to chat before planting together.
The series of events were then continued by planting with ironwood trees by President Jokowi and President Ebrahim Raisi.
Head of State and President Ebrahim Raisi returned to the Bogor Palace to hold a bilateral meeting with delegates from each country.
After the bilateral meeting, the two leaders then made a joint press statement.
