アルディ・タヘルだけでなく、バカレグ・ダブルス2政党もマディウンで発見された
MADIUN - The Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) of Madiun City found that there was one prospective legislative candidate for the 2024 General Election which was registered in two different political parties (political parties).
The head of the Madiun City Bawaslu, Kokok Heru Purwoko, said that according to the data, the balaleg was on behalf of Siswati from the electoral district (Dapil) of Taman 2 which was included in the Perindo and Golkar Party's reading list in the same serial number.
"This finding is clearly not in accordance with the rules. There must be improvements later, for example, balaleg chose to be one of the parties, or canceled everything, it is up to the political parties and the leg concerned," said Kokok Heru, quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, May 20.
According to him, according to KPU Regulation (PKPU) Number 10/2023 concerning Candidates for DPRD Members, it is stated that candidates must be nominated in only one electoral district. Then there are also mentioned, Bacaleg is nominated by one political party participating in the election.
Based on these findings, his party has forwarded to the Madiun City KPU to be followed up by the band organizing the election.
Meanwhile, the Commissioner for the Technical Division of the Implementation of the Madiun City KPU, Herdi Wijanarko, responded to the findings of the duality of the name of the baulaleg which said administrative verification would be carried out until June 23.
"We will follow up on this multiplicity during the administrative verification process. We have a mechanism for clarifying the person concerned to choose one of the political parties," said Herdi.
The stages of submitting the leg lasted for 14 days, May 1-14, 2023. However, the Indonesian KPU extended the submission period for 5 days, until May 19, 2023.
The extension of the application was carried out to accommodate political parties participating in the election to complete the lack of administrative files.
Including being able to increase its leg of up to 100 percent or 30 people according to the number of seats for Madiun City DPRD members.
The extension is regulated in the Decree of the Indonesian KPU Number 495 and 496 of 2023 aimed at seven political parties for which 100 percent are incomplete in all electoral districts. These are the Labor, Perindo, Ummat, PKN, Garuda, Gelora, and PPP parties.
