Let's Beware Of Digital Footprint Record
JAKARTA - Bakti Kominfo held a seminar entitled 'Come on Beware of Digital Track Record' on Friday 18 May. This seminar targets all people, especially gen z who actively use and publish something about themselves on social media, and is attended by various groups of people with a total of approximately 180 participants.
The title of this seminar is related to the many phenomena of leakage of personal data and fraud due to the lack of public self-control when uploading something on his social media accounts. The seminar was opened with traditional dance arts performances and sang the national anthem Indonesia Raya which was carried out by submitting material from resource persons.
The first resource person is Mas Hendri, a young self-driving activist. Mas Hendri appealed to young people to be more aware and wise in uploading something on social media.
This is closely related to our track record that can be tracked when we want to apply for a job in the future. So it is important for us to always instill goodness when browsing the internet. He proposed the importance of education and socialization regarding policies and self-control using the internet for teenagers.
The second resource person is Prof. Dr. Hendri Subianto, as a professor of communication at Airlangga University. He describes examples of active and passive digital track records.
Not only that, he also strongly emphasized that digital traces can be used as legal evidence. So it is necessary to be careful in leaving traces on the internet, because it is irreversible or unable to return.
The third resource person, Rizki Sadiq, as a member of Commission I of the Indonesian House of Representatives. He explained that technological advances that cannot be avoided must be accompanied by continuing to upgrade each other.

The fourth resource person is Shabrina, as an influencer member. He gave a message to avoid the bad digital footprint, namely by remembering the boundaries when he wanted to publish everything on social media and also the need for self-control in social media.
