Planning To Meet Megawati In The Near Future, Cak Imin Makes Sure It Will Be Special

JAKARTA - Chairman of the National Awakening Party (PKB) Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin plans to meet PDI-P General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri. The meeting was confirmed to be special.

"There are many (special ones, red). Mrs. Mega must be special," Cak Imin told reporters in Jakarta, Saturday, May 20.

Even so, Cak Imin has not detailed the timing of the meeting. He just said, Megawati was still setting a schedule.

"We are waiting for news from Mrs. Mega," he said.

Although still waiting, Cak Imin said Megawati was willing to meet him. Moreover, the two had met face-to-face during the halal bihalal of the general chairman of the party supporting the Jokowi-Ma'ruf Amin government some time ago.

In this meeting, Cak Imin ensured that much would be discussed. Including, matters related to the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres) such as political cooperation.

"Certainly (related to 2024, ed). Mrs. Mega as president (we, red) sowani (visit). And surely we get a lot of input from him," said the Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives.

Cak Imin confirmed that all vice presidents and presidents who are still healthy will be met. Including Vice President Try Soetrisno, who was visited today, Saturday, May 20.

"We also visit all the presidents and vice presidents. But coincidentally, they are still healthy, they can still receive guests, yes, vice presidents," he concluded.
