ATGMI Do This To Stimulate The Development Of The Printing And Packaging Industry Sector

JAKARTA - The Indonesian Graphics and Media Engineering Association (ATGMI) is spurring the development of the printing and packaging industry sector. This is done to meet local and international market demand.

"The grapha sector in Indonesia, such as printing packaging, is still behind other countries such as Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand. Business actors in this sector are expected to jointly advance the printing and packaging industry," said ATGMI Technical Division Head Clay Wala at the Global Printing and Packaging Expo (GPPE) exhibition in Jakarta, Thursday 11 May.

He said that his party continues to develop innovations in the grapha and packaging sectors.

"We continue to spur increased productivity and business efficiency, from digital print technology to the latest machines, equipment to software," he explained.

In order to increase the growth of the grapha and packaging sector, he continued, ATMGI held a Global Printing and Packaging Expo (GPPE) exhibition featuring the latest innovations in the printing and packaging industry and was also able to meet various leading vendors and producers in the industry and see their products directly.

In this exhibition, various activities will be held such as Seminar, Workshop, Talkshow, Webinar, and Technical Presentation jointly with associations, academics, industry and exhibitionists.

In addition to presenting trends and business opportunities in the printing and packaging industry, this activity also has comprehensive educational elements, so it can be highly applied in these two industries.

Chairman of the Indonesian Graphics and Media Engineering Association Herman Pratomo added that seeing the enthusiasm of the exhibit participants and the early registration of visitors and participants of the integrated seminar, his party believes that this first GPPE will be successful and useful for all.

"With this exhibition, it will be very helpful for the printing and packaging industries in Indonesia. Printing and packaging industry players are required to attend the 2023 GPPE Jakarta Exhibition to find out the industrial development held at this exhibition," he said.

This exhibition is supported by the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia, the Indonesian Digital Printing Machine Community (KMDPI), Vendor and User DTF Indonesia, the Indonesian Packaging Federation (IPF), the BINUS Center, the National Standardization Agency (BSN), SGS & CO, Nestversus Indonesia, Print Graphic, Print Pack Indonesia, Print Media, Graphics Coffee, as well as fellow printing and packaging associations strengthen the implementation of Jakarta's Global Printing and Packaging Expo (GPPE) this year.
