Bank Muamalat Records Digital Transactions During Ramadan-Lebaran Reaches Up To IDR 2.4 Trillion
PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia Tbk recorded an increase in transaction volume of up to IDR 2.4 trillion through the Muamalat DIN mobile banking application during the holy month of Ramadan and Eid holidays.
When compared to the normal period before fasting and Eid, this figure increased by 17.8 percent.
The total transaction via Muamalat DIN during this period was 1,857,523 times or an increase of 19.7 percent compared to the normal period.
Bank Muamalat Director of Operations and Digital Affairs Wahyu Avianto said, in general, the dominant transactions are book transfer transactions or overbooking and electronic money top ups.
On the other hand, transaction volumes such as payment of Zakat, Infak, Alms, and Waqf (Ziswaf) also increased drastically by 272 percent compared to the period before Ramadan.

Wahyu explained that currently more than 90 percent of the company's customer transactions have been carried out through digital channels, the majority of which are through the Muamalat DIN application.
As of March 31, 2023, the total user of the Muamalat DIN application was recorded at around 400 thousand. This figure increased 23.7 percent compared to the same period last year.
He added that Muamalat had also launched the latest features in the Muamalat DIN application.
Among them, digital customers on board where prospective Bank Muamalat customers can open new accounts through the Muamalat DIN application on their cellphones without having to come to the branch office.
In addition, there is a payment feature using a QR Code that is connected to the standard Indonesian quick response code (QRIS) which is the standardization of payments using the QR Code method from Bank Indonesia.

In the Muamalat DIN application, the Hajj Bank menu is now also available. In the menu, there are features for Hajj registration, Hajj payment, and checking the latest value of the benefits of Hajj.
This information can be obtained simply by accessing Muamalat DIN from anywhere without having to go to the Bank Muamalat branch office.
Currently, checking the value of the benefits of Hajj in Muamalat DIN is only available for prospective regular pilgrims.
