Survey Of Indicators Holds Simulation Of Three Presidential Candidates, As A Result, Ganjar Pranowo Becomes A Champion

JAKARTA - PDI-P candidate Ganjar Pranowo will get 34 percent electability. This figure was grabbed by the chairman of the Gerindra Party, Prabowo Subianto, at 31.7 percent.

While the third position is occupied by the prospective presidential candidate for the Change Coalition Anies Baswedan with an electability of 25.2 percent. Meanwhile, the percentage of respondents who did not choose one of the three names was 9.1 percent.

This is the latest result from the Indonesian Political Indicator Survey Institute which released the results of the 2024 presidential candidate electability survey with a simulation of three names.

This survey was conducted on 11-17 April 2023 against 1,220 respondents by means of face-to-face interviews by trained interviewers.

This means that when the survey was conducted, Ganjar was still only a party official for the Governor of Central Java. Only on April 21, 2023, PDIP officially declared Ganjar as a presidential candidate.

The method used in this survey is multistage random sampling with a margin of error of +/- 2.9 percent and a confidence level of 95 percent.

Although the survey results show Ganjar Pranowo as the highest electability presidential candidate, lead researcher Indicator Burhanuddin Muhtadi stated that the three candidates still have superior potential.

Burhanuddin said the three names did not win in one round.

"So I said that although there was a dynamic in April, the three candidates still had superior potential, meaning that these 3 names did not win one round," said Burhanuddin Muhtadi, Sunday, April 30.

In addition, Indonesian Political Indicators also simulated 35 semi-open names. In this simulation, Ganjar Pranowo's name remains in the highest position followed by Prabowo Subianto and Anies Baswedan.
