The U20 National Team Wears A Black Band, Ex-TGIPF: PSSI's Tragedy To Play Fun Football With FIFA Athletes Is Silent For A Thousand Languages
JAKARTA - Former member of the Independent Fact Finding Joint Team (TGIPF) of the Tragedy of the Kanjuruhan Stadium, Laode M Syarif, spoke about the many U20 Indonesian national teams using black ribbons.
The symbolic effort followed that Indonesia was canceled to host the 2023 U20 World Cup. Garuda Muda finally canceled participating in the tournament because it was not a qualifying path that could only play if he was the host.
"At the time of the @PSSI Kanjuruhan Tragedy, even played Fun Football with President @FIFAcom. Athletes were silent a thousand languages," Laode said on his Twitter account and had given permission, quoted on Friday, March 31.
Laode continued, the TGIPF formed by the government to resolve the Kanjuruhan Tragedy which claimed the death toll of 135 gave birth to a number of recommendations so that incidents would not be repeated and the FIFA laws and regulations would continue to be enforced in football matches. However, the reality says otherwise.
"And the @TGIPF_Malang recommendations are not implemented," said Laode.
To VOI, Laode briefly explained the TGIPF recommendation for the Kanjuruhan Tragedy which was not carried out by relevant stakeholders. One of them is that there is no follow-up from PSSI to revise the Statutes and PSSI regulations related to Exco PSSI is prohibited from having positions in League 1 clubs, League 2 or League 3.
"Not resigning. Not revising the PSSI Statute which caused a conflict of interest, for example: Exco but the club owner, etc," Laode said in a short message.
