JAKARTA - Tech giant Microsoft said that by 2025, artificial intelligence (AI) is expected to be more intuitive and innovative, helping businesses face complex challenges in times of uncertainty.

Every top-level executive I spoke to is preparing for a period of global political and economic instability. The good news for them is that there has never been a tool that is better prepared to deal with the current situation other than AI, "said Jared Spataro, CMO AI at Work Microsoft in his official blog.

Jared provides examples of AI benefits that can analyze various possibilities. For example, when the company faces potential trade rate changes, AI can analyze supply chain data, identify alternative suppliers, and ensure compliance with new regulations.

In addition, if 2024 becomes an era of increasing individual productivity with AI, 2025 will focus on transforming business processes, especially in standardized and repetitive operational processes using AI Agents.

"I anticipate that each organization will soon have an AI Agent, each of which works behind the scenes 24-7 to run or automate the entire business process," added Spataro.

AI is also expected to trigger the birth of innovative new goods and services. As is currently underway, AI-based startups are increasingly popping up in various sectors, from advertising to health care.
