Meta Can Get Rid Of Threads Uploads On Instagram And Facebook

JAKARTA - The effort to promote Threads from Meta is very disturbing. We who do not use THreads can still see uploads on the platform while using Instagram and Facebook.

Although not many uploads from Threads have appeared on Instagram or Facebook, not everyone likes this look. After all, all platforms already have their respective places.

Apparently, Meta is aware of this problem. According to The Verge report, Software Developer Alessandro Paluzzi discovered a new feature being developed by Metadi Threads.

The feature will display a Upload Suggestion option in Other Apps in the Privacy settings. When tapping the option, the user can enable or disable suggestions for other applications.

If Threads users turn off suggestions display in apps like Instagram and Facebook, then their posts will not go to other social media developed by Meta.

However, this feature is not the right solution. Meta needs to understand that more complaints come from people who don't use Threads, not the other way around.

If uploads on Threads can be included as a recommendation for Instagram and Facebook diffed, it is a sign that the upload has a fairly good traffic. Not everyone wants to press theirraffic lift.

This feature was created for Threads users who were disturbed because their content entered other platforms. Maybe in the future Meta can create special settings on Instagram and Facebook to stop recommendations from Threads.
