The 8Pro Pixel received a number of complaints even though it was just sent last week. Quoting from 9to5google, some users seem to complain of strange problems on their screen whileways-on display (AOD) is active.

A number of reports say that there is text on their screen showing pink or yellow when the phone is in AOD mode. Surprisingly, this kind of look doesn't appear on the whole screen.

The pink or yellow color in this text only fills a small part of the panel. Usually this problem is found on the side or at the top, where the text is originally white and has long been pink or yellow.

Initially, users thought something was wrong on their screen. However, when the screen is turned off and restarted, the screen appears as if there is no problem. The whole text looks normal.

The problem of color change in this text only occurs when users use their phone in a dim room. When moving to an ordinary room, this problem has never happened.

Although a number of users have complained about this problem on the Pixel 8 Pro, it turns out that this phone is not a source of trouble. Apparently, the phone that uses Android 14 QPR1 Beta complained about the same thing.

With complaints on different types of mobile phones, it appears that the reason why the color of the text changed for no reason was not because of the Pixel 8 Pro, but because of hardware problems. However, this allegation cannot be fully justified because Google has not provided any responses.
