Apple is planned to release MacBook Pro and MacBook Air with the chipM3 in 2024. Although it will be launched in the same year, the MacBook Pro will be released first and the MacBook Air following a few months later.

The latest news from Briomberg, MacBook Pro 14 inches and 16 inches with chipM3 Pro and M3 Max has reached the design validation test stage (DVT). When it reached this stage, MacBook had approached the mass production stage.

Reportedly, the MacBook Pro, which will be released, uses the TSMC 3nm processor. If the 2024 MacBook Pro really uses that processor, the resulting power will be greater than the previous MacBook Pro output which only uses TSMC's 5 nanometer technology.

So far, no more leaks regarding specifications from the latest MacBook Pro besides the processor. Briomberg had suspected that Apple was ready to launch this Pro model in October, but this allegation was wrong.

Apple released the 2023 MacBook Pro with the chipM2 Pro and M2 Max earlier this year so the 2024 MacBook Pro may be released early next year and both in January.

Meanwhile, Apple is also focusing on the 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air M3. Compared to the MacBook Pro, this MacBook model will be released longer.

Currently MacBook Air 13 and 15 inches are in the engineering verification test phase (EVT). Looking at this trial stage, Apple will release as early as spring or summer next year.
