JAKARTA - Spotify will release a new feature that can help podcasters. This feature makes it easier for podcasters to create podcasts in other languages ​​they don't speak.

Quoted from The Verge, this translation feature is supported by Artificial Intelligence (AI). To be clearer, this podcast translation feature is OpenAI's voice transcription tool, namely Whisper.

This feature is able to make language transcriptions from English to other languages ​​or vice versa, namely other languages ​​to English.

The development of this feature is also extraordinary because this translation feature is not just speech to text. That way, the resulting transcription will not sound stiff.

Even though it changes to another language, podcast viewers can still feel the voice of the podcaster themselves. The reason is, AI will still reproduce the podcaster's original voice.

Spotify itself has collaborated with several podcasters so far. These podcasters include Dax Shepard, Monica Padman, Lex Fridman, Bill Simmons, and Steven Bartlett.
