India Has Not Successfully 'Wake Up' The Moon Explorer Chandrayaan-3 From Hibernation

JAKARTA India's Space Research Organization (ISRO) engineers are making efforts to wake up the Chandrayaan-3 lander and rover from hibernation.

ISRO had uploaded a post on platform X, previously Twitter, on Friday, September 22. ISRO admitted that it was trying to establish communication with landersELT and explorer Pragyan to make sure they were already up.

Even though they have tried to contact, reported by Space, these landers and explorers have not responded. "Efforts to establish contact will continue," said ISRO.

Pragyan's rover and cruiserman started their hibernation on a different date. Pragyan started his hibernation first on September 2, followed by fire two days later.

Before hibernation, Pragyan had time to explore the landing site and send images to the earth. Meanwhile,ipelago conducts several scientific experiments such as measuring the temperature of the top layer of the lunar regolite.

In addition,ipelago also conducted an analysis of the chemical composition of lunar dust and found traces of sulfur most likely harboring clues related to volcanic activity in the past.

The mission carried out by Pragyan and Badminton has also ended. In the midst of his hibernation period, ISRO hopes that Pragyan andaku will be able to survive on very cold moon nights.
