Threads May Release Edit Button In The Near Future

JAKARTA - Since its release, Instagram Chief Adam Mosseri has mentioned the editing feature. This feature is included in the category of features that have the potential to be launched.

Although its release was never confirmed, now the news of the presence of the edit feature is starting to be heard. Quoting from The Verge, a developer Alessandro Paluzzi who is actively providing information related to the application feature in Meta shows the editing feature.

In his upload on X, previously known as Twitter, Paluzzi mentioned that this editing feature was only given up to five minutes after the post was created. With the edit button, you can change the contents of your post.

This time of up to five minutes shows clear differences regarding the use of the edit feature in Threads and its competitor, platform X. If Threads might provide this access to all users, the editing feature on X only applies to Premium users.

So far, Meta has continued to develop various features to improve comfort in using Threads. Developments that have been launched to date are notification, follow feed, client web, quote, to search for posts.

The Verges had asked Meta for a response regarding the details of the release time. Unfortunately, Meta has not yet responded. It is very likely that this feature will be released soon and can be reached by all users.
