JAKARTA - The Ministry of Communication and Information (Kominfo) is carrying out a rebranding or reintroduction of licensing for digital television or radio broadcasting services, called E-broadcasting.
With this rebranding, Minister of Communication and Information Budi Arie Setiadi hopes that e-broadcasting services can make it easier for all players in the broadcasting industry to access digital services.
"Not only rebranding, the operationalization of e-broadcasting applications has also been updated by strengthening standardization, namely ISO standards for information security management systems and ISO standards for quality management of radio and television broadcasting services," said the Minister of Communication and Information in his press conference on Tuesday, September 12.
To support optimal digital public services, e-Broadcasting which has been reintroduced is equipped with two international standards, namely ISO 27001:2022 and ISO9001:2015.
The ISO27001:2022 standard indicates that digital access to manage broadcasting permits meets Information Management Security System standards, while ISO9001:2015 guarantees that E-Broadcasting meets quality management standards for radio and television broadcasting services.

Don't forget, Kominfo also promises that processing the permit will not take a long time and can even be done immediately or known as same day service.
"By utilizing advances in digital technology, let us continue to innovate and create big leaps that can improve public services for a connected, more digital, more advanced Indonesia," said Budi.
