JAKARTA - Google announced the expansion of the application of its AI technology for advertising needs on YouTube, which aims to reach a wider audience and get better performance.

With this new AI tool, YouTube will later notify you if your videos do not have the best advertising practices, whether in terms of brand logo, video length, voice over, or aspect ratio.

YouTube's AI will then determine whether your logo stands out in the first five seconds or not, has voice over or not, and suggests a video length for your ad.

"If we have recommendations or tools to implement suggestions like adding voice over, we'll direct you there," wrote Nicky Rettke, Vice President, Product Management, YouTube Ads on Google's blog.

Thanks to advanced AI, YouTube voice overs are of the highest quality, available in 15 languages, and can be accessed directly in Google Ads, and coming soon to Ads Creative Studio.

According to Google, video ads that use voice over drive 81 percent more conversions in their video action campaigns than ads without voice over.

Furthermore, YouTube will also guide you to trim your ad video according to your needs, such as 6-15 seconds for Awareness, 1-3 minutes for Consideration, and 15 seconds for Action.

You can also create horizontal, square, or vertical videos, using a variety of high-quality templates on YouTube.

"These features empower marketers to take charge of their creative. AI can help improve performance by customizing creative elements across the viewing experience and the different content that YouTube viewers love," added Rettke.
