JAKARTA - Substack, launched a new artificial intelligence (AI) powered feature, which is able to create transcripts directly from podcasts, without having to use other transcription services outside of Substack.
"We just shipped several new features that make podcasting on Substack even better," the company wrote on its blog.

The company also says that the transcription process on Substack doesn't take long, aka you only need to wait about a minute.
Just like other transcription services, once the Substack tool has finished transcribing the podcast, you can still edit it, and publish it immediately.
"Then, you can select sections that you can then use to generate custom audiograms that you can share on social media," adds Substack.
These audiograms will usually produce something like a small static video with text and audio playing over it.

"We've done all this using cutting-edge AI tools, and this reflects our philosophy of not thinking AI will replace the work done by writers," he continued.
This tool may still be in its infancy. The company says it's likely a future fix to make the tool even better.
"Stay with us for a while, because although at first glance they may not be perfect, they will improve rapidly," the company added.
