Hooray! Meta Officially Launches Web Version Threads

JAKARTA - The tech giant owned by Mark Zuckerberg, Meta Platform Inc. has officially launched a web version of its social media platform, Threads, now.

The launch was also confirmed by the Head of Instagram, Adam Mosseri on Friday, August 25 on his Threads account. "THread.net is now available to everyone. Tell us what you think," Mosseri wrote.

According to VOI monitoring, you can visit the thread.net to open the web version of Threads. From there, you can log in Threads using the username and password of your Instagram account manually, or click "Login with Instagram" to make it easier.

Once you log in by entering a username and password manually, then you will be sent a verification code via SMS. If you have entered the code, you will be immediately taken to the Threads account page.

The web version of threads on the desktop has a slightly simpler display, and tends to be empty on the right side of its left. On the bottom left, you'll only see a tab for your Threads home view option.

You can turn it into a "For you" to see personalized posts for you, or "Follow" if you just want to see posts from people you follow.

On the upper middle side, you can see five menus, namely the Home, Search, Post, Like, and Profile menus. All Threads posts will also only appear in the middle of your desktop screen.

While on the right side, you will only see the Settings menu, to switch appearances (dark and bright modes), About, Report problems, and Log out or exit.
