PayPal Appoints Alex Chriss As The New President And CEO Of The Company Starting September

JAKARTA - PayPal has officially announced that its Board of Directors has appointed senior Intuit executive, Alex Chriss, as PayPal's newest President and CEO, effective from 27 September 2023.

Based on the announcement shared on Tuesday, August 15, Chriss received unanimous support from the Board and the PayPal CEO search committee, following engagement and evaluation across all major metrics for PayPal's future success.

Chriss is known as an experienced and very successful business leader. In addition, it was also mentioned that Chriss had explored technology with product leadership experience.

"The Council's search committee is working diligently and thoroughly to find the right candidate to take PayPal to its next stages of growth and expansion, and we believe Alex is that person," he added.
