JAKARTA - Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) officially announced that an Access controller for the PS5 will be available globally on December 6, with the preorder starting on Friday, July 21.

"Over the past five years, we have traveled with organizations and experts on accessibility to create a versatile control kit that allows gamers with disabilities to play more comfortably and for a longer time, empowering more players to share the fun of playing games," said Vice President, Brand, Software and Peripheral, SIE Isabelle Tomato in the PlayStation blog.

Available at a retail price suggested at 89.99 US dollars or equivalent to IDR 1.36 million, Access controller allows you to adjust the layout with various buttons and stick caps in various shapes and designs and operate controllers from 360 degrees orientation.

More than that, you can also map the button up to 30 control profiles, adjust the stick settings, enable or disable the command, or disable the button at once to stop accidental suppression.

"You can even pair up to two access controllers and one DualSense wireless controller simultaneously and use them collaboratively," he explained further.

Starting Friday, July 21, players in the US, UK, France, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Austria, and Portugal will be able to preorder Access controllers directly from PlayStation via direct.playstation.com, as well as from certain retailers.

Preorders will also be available via selected retailers on other global markets on the same day. Access controller will be launched globally on December 6.
