JAKARTA - Twitter's replacement social media alternative, Bluesky launched a new feature called "Custom Feeds", which allows users to be able to create their own feeds according to the accounts they want to follow.

How the Custom Feeds feature works is almost the same as the Lists feature on Twitter. Where, you can have your own timeline for certain content by adding the accounts you are interested in.

In this update, Bluesky provides four default feeds, including What's Hot (containing top trending content), Popular With Friends (containing the things your friends like), Bluesky Team (containing about posts from Bluesky developers), and also What's Hot Classic.

But, apart from the four default feeds, users can also create their own feeds with content that suits their interests.

For example, you can create a new feed with a game theme. So, just add the accounts you want to see in your feed, then only the content of that account will appear there.

Last month, Bluesky was updated with content moderation. But despite all these new features, the platform is still considered beta and still needs an invitation from someone who is already a Bluesky user.

It's still unclear when Bluesky will be publicly available, but the company has made it easier for current users to invite more people to create new accounts there.

Bluesky is a new social network supported by Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey. Social media has almost the same working style as Twitter but with a more decentralized approach similar to Mastodon.
