Data On Present Applications: Digitalization Trends In Indonesia Continue To Increase After The Pandemic

JAKARTA - The Present Application (hadir.com), which has been known as an application to monitor the prevalence and productivity of employees made by PT Fatiha Sakti (Fast-8 Group), has released data related to the trend of increasing digitalization in Indonesia after the COVID-19 pandemic.

The data shows that during the pandemic in 2021, the number of precessive points in Presentir has increased 5x, while when the pandemic subsided in 2022, the number of precessive points in Presentir actually increased by 9 times compared to before the pandemic.

The data also shows that, amid the current threat of a global recession, digitalization trends continue to increase, and even continue to expand to areas outside Java. Interestingly, this increase in digitalization was driven by MSME-scale companies.

According to Afia Fitriati as CEO of PT Fatiha Sakti (Fast-8 Group), mobility restrictions during the 2020-2022 pandemic have made an adaptation to the use of remote productivity monitoring applications such as Hadir experience a significant increase.

However, it turns out that the trend of increasing users will continue to increase in 2023, although the implementation of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) continues to decline.

During 2020 to 2021, Presir's internal data showed that the number of attendance points registered in the Present application increased by 500 percent. People's habits for digitizing financial processes also show an increasing trend, indicated by an increase in the number of claims (reimbursements) which also increases in the Present application.

Afia, who also oversees the Hadir application, said that this data could be an indication of the great potential of applications with the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) business model in Indonesia.

"In difficult times like now, where most companies cut expenses, it turns out that the use of SaaS-based applications continues to rise," he said.

"This shows that many business owners, especially in the MSME sector, find it helpful to carry out their operations with the applications we provide", added Afia.

This Present data provides indications that the digitalization process does not only occur in big cities on the island of Java, but is actually expanding outside Java, such as Sumatra, Sulawesi, Kalimantan, and Bali.
