Instagram is Testing a New Feature that Lets Users Share Music in Notes

JAKARTA - Instagram is testing a new feature that allows users to add songs to Notes in the Instagram Direct Message (DM) tab.

"We're testing a new Instagram feature: people can share songs in Notes," Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg said in his Instagram broadcast channel a few days ago.

Initially, Instagram Notes allows you to share notes in text form only. However, with this update, Instagram will allow you to share songs as well.

Additionally, another feature announced is the ability to add songs to the photo carousel. With this feature, users can add songs to posts that contain several photos.

Currently, there are several countries that can access the feature, but Zuckerberg added that the feature will be rolled out in more countries in the future.

"And also added the song to their photo carousel. It's available in several countries with more to come," he added in the same announcement.

This announcement was shared days after Instagram launched a redesigned video editor for Reels along with other creator tools.

Also, now users can add up to five links in their bio along with their title. Meta Avatar now has more customization options for users as the company achieved its billionth avatar creation recently.
