Google Photos Gets a New Feature, Can Make Video Images Brighter

JAKARTA - Google is starting to roll out some of its new Google Photos features to more Pixel phones and Google One subscribers on Android and iOS.

With this new Google Photos feature, you'll get the most out of your photos and videos by making them easy to find, organize, edit, and share.

In recent years, Google has added editing tools like Magic Eraser. Now, the search giant is bringing Magic Eraser and other enhanced editing features to even more people.

"Starting today, Google One members, on both Android and iOS, and all Pixel users will be able to enjoy Magic Eraser, new HDR video effects, and exclusive collage styles," wrote Dina Berrada and Esteban Kozak, Director of Product Management at Google Photos and Google One.

Magic Eraser

With Magic Eraser's ability to detect distractions in your photos like photobooms, you can erase them simply by circling or brushing over the object you want to remove.

Also, Camouflage in Magic Eraser can change the color of objects in your photo to help them blend naturally with the rest of the photo.

HDR effect

Maybe at first the HDR effect will help to balance the dark foreground and bright background (or vice versa) in just photos. But now, the HDR effect also lets you increase the brightness and contrast throughout your video.

New collage editor design

To give you more options when building your collages in Google Photos, Google added a few updates to its collage editor. First, all Google Photos users can now apply Styles to a single photo in the collage editor. Second, a variety of new Styles are coming to the collage editor for Google One members and Pixel users, so you have more designs to choose from when creating your collage.

Free shipping on print orders

For Google One members, you can get free shipping on orders from print shops in the United States, Canada, the European Union, and the United Kingdom.

This feature starts rolling out today on Google Photos to Google One members on all plans and all Pixel users.
