JAKARTA - Judging from the increasing number of national and international level tournaments, the development of esports in Indonesia is considered very fast with high progress.

In order to support potential esports players in Indonesia, KINCIR together with Moonton are again holding a women's esports tournament, MLBB Women's Invitational (MWI) 2023 for the second time.

Supported by the Executive Board of Esports Indonesia (PBESI) and Samsung Electronic Indonesia, MWI 2023 will be held in a hybrid manner, starting from 6 - 12 February.

Debuting last year, MWI 2023 is one of the largest women's MLBB tournaments participated by various countries in Southeast Asia including Indonesia, the Philippines, Myanmar, Singapore, Cambodia, Malaysia, and the Mekong region (Laos, Vietnam and Thailand).

The 2023 MLBB Women's Invitational will take place over three rounds. The Group Stage will take place online from February 6 to 7. In this round, 10 teams will be divided into two groups and play with the Best of One (BO1) system. The four best teams from each group will advance to the playoffs.

From February 8th, the playoffs begin. The team will play with the Best of Three (BO3) system. Here, the losing team will be eliminated immediately.

Then in the Grand Final round it will be held offline on February 12 at Summarecon Mall Bekasi using the Best of Five (BO5) system. The team that survives until the end will emerge as the champion of MWI 2023.
