Twitter Will Launch Tweet Recommend Codes in a Few Days!

JAKARTA - Last Friday, Elon Musk announced that Twitter would publish tweet recommendation codes and make tweet statuses visible for at least the next few days.

"Twitter will publish tweet recommendation codes & make tweet/tweet statuses visible in the future. Transparency builds trust," Musk wrote on Twitter.

This isn't the first time the new Twitter CEO has spoken about the importance of transparency to building trust on the social media platform. In May he also indicated that the algorithm should be open source with “clearly identifiable” human intervention.

With this transparency, Musk then hopes that whatever is on his platform becomes a truth that is worth believing in.

"So much potential with Twitter to be the most trusted & widely inclusive forum in the world. That's why we have to clean up bots, spam & scams. And the algorithms have to be open source, with any human intervention clearly identified. Then, trust will come." worth it," Musk said on May 3.

On the other hand, on January 14, Twitter launched a new interface with additional "For You" and "Following" tabs, which were initially only released for iOS users, to Twitter users on the web.

These two tabs allow you to be able to switch between the two feeds. The For You tab will display recommendation tweets from the people you follow, interspersed with tweets you think you might like.

Meanwhile, the Following tab allows users to view tweets based on the latest time. So, if you swipe over to this tab, the Twitter timeline will display the most recent tweets from the accounts you follow.
