JAKARTA – US electric car maker Tesla Inc. has started offering discounts to electric vehicle buyers in Singapore who agree to buy a Tesla Model 3 or Model Y car in the country. This was revealed by a Tesla sales representative on Monday, January 9.
Tesla is offering a $5.000 discount for electric vehicle buyers who trade in their existing internal combustion vehicles and another $5.000 credit towards the cost of a certificate to operate the car in Singapore.
Additionally, for eligible buyers who have a charger installed at home, Tesla will provide a wall plug for charging, although the customer will have to pay a fee for the installation.
