JAKARTA- On the same day as the launch of Fortnite Season 2, Epic Games announced its two-week commitment to donate real money for the game Fortnite. The aid will be given to charities to help Ukrainians affected by the Russian invasion.

A few minutes later, Fortnite reported again that Xbox was joining Epic in an effort to give real money from the game Fortnite on Xbox to help people in Ukraine.

From March 20 to April 3, all in-game purchases made with real money for things like V-Bucks, battle tickets, Crew subscriptions, and more will go directly to relief funds actively working to help refugees, who are still are in Ukraine.
According to Epic, the charities involved include Direct Relief, UNICEF, UNWFP, and UNHCR. More organizations will be added in the coming weeks.

Xbox will do the same as Epic by donating all of its own Fortnite real-money net proceeds to the same charity.
