JAKARTA – Play-to-earn (P2E) games are increasingly enlivening the gaming industry today, one of which is Skyweaver, a card game. This week Skyweaver was reported to have arrived in beta after months of testing and being played by players on a limited basis.

According to Cointelegraph, Skyweaver is based on the Polygon network and developed by Horizon Blockchain Games, whose team co-created the ERC-1155 token standard. The game allows players to collect and earn token cards from each battle, then exchange cards through its marketplace.

According to Skyweaver, as many as 233,000 users have installed the play-to-earn game application. More than three million games were played in beta and 345,000 people signed up before the beta launched on February 8.

Horizon Blockchain Games founder and CEO Peter Kieltyka said the company had worked hard to make the game user-friendly.

“We've been building Skyweaver for the last four years, refining the mechanics and user experience to ensure everyone can enjoy — while keeping Web3 pure. We are committed to giving millions of people easy and secure access to the Web3, where everyone can own, use and enjoy digital assets,” said Kieltyka.
