JAKARTA - PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM), the official distributor of Honda cars in Indonesia, recorded positive sales achievements by winning 106,637 units during the period January to October 2023, showing an increase of 7 percent compared to the previous year.

Of the total sales, Honda Brio and HR-V play a key role by accounting for 44 percent and 20 percent of total sales in the last ten months. Meanwhile, models such as WR-V also contributed 14 percent to date.

In October 2023, Honda retail sales reached 9,611 units. Honda Brio remains the best-selling model with 4,494 units, followed by HR-V with 1,474 units and BR-V with 1,361 units.

Meanwhile, the WR-V SUV contributed 1,241 units, and the All New CR-V managed to reach 534 units, an increase of 71 percent compared to the previous month.

Other models also contributed to boosting sales, including Mobilio (251 units), City Hatchback Hospital (150 units), Civic Hospital (67 units), City (16 units), Accord (14 units), and Civic Type R (9 units).

As an effort to refresh the market towards the end of the year, Honda held a sales program titled "HEBOH" (Honda More Promos at the End of the Year). Consumers who purchased Honda cars in November 2023 had the opportunity to get various benefits, including free facilities for maintenance costs to Upgrader Packages.
