JAKARTA - PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) released a uniform for Honda entrepreneurship with ikat weaving accents in the middle of the 2023 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS).

The uniform, which is named Anantya Karana, is the result of a collaboration between HPM and Didiet Maulana and Surupa by IKAT Indonesia.

This uniform design is inspired by Indonesian cultural heritage and also reflects Honda's identity. This step is also in line with Honda's big vision in Indonesia which has a strong closeness to the local community.

Didiet Maulana, Director of IKAT Indonesia, explained that the design of Anantya Karana's ikat weaving is a narrative that reflects on the values held by Honda, including trust, security, and comfort.

"This design takes inspiration from Indonesian and Japanese culture, reflecting the hospitality shown by Honda in each of its services," Didiet said in a statement on Thursday, August 17.

In line with the view of Didiet Maulana, Yessy Anastasia, Head of the Department of PR and Event PT HPM, explained that this new uniform has a deep meaning for Honda, giving confidence to entrepreneurs to provide the best service to customers.

"This uniform also reflects Honda's 'Three Joys' philosophy, including pleasure in selling Honda products," Yessy said.

The name Anantya Karana comes from Sanskrit, describing the commitment to cooperate with customers through various forms of pleasure. The motive is inspired by Kawung's symbolic batik as a human being who provides benefits to society.

This design also includes elements of ShipPOu's motifs that symbolize prosperity and harmony, as well as the floral motifs of the timple that reflect the beauty of life and hope.

The color that dominates the Indonesian uniform is black, symbolizing innovation and collaboration of technology. In addition, there is a red color that symbolizes warmth and optimism. The gray color symbolizes professionalism that provides solutions, and white color that symbolizes unity.

The motive for guiding represents the harmony of the relationship between Honda and its customers, while the floral motifs of the crater reflect hope for sustainable quality.

The three-point pattern represents the "Three Joys" Honda - Joy of Buying, Joy of Selling, and Joy of Creating - as well as represents three individual principles: initiative, equality, and trust.
