Mazda Is Back In Collaboration With The Famous Fashion Designer At GIIAS 2023

JAKARTA - Still in the 2023 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS), PT Eurokars Motor Indonesia (EMI), the official distributor and APM of Mazda vehicles in Indonesia, again held the "Meet the Takumi Talkshow" session.

After the success of the "Meet the Takumi, Broken Rhythm Design" with the famous architect Budi Pradono, Mazda Indonesia is now holding another discussion with the theme "Create Without Boundaries", this time with the famous fashion designer, Jeffrey Tan.

Not only that, Mazda and Jeffrey Tan also presented a luxurious dress titled "Monochromatic" specifically designed for guests of Mazda Indonesia.

Pramita Sari, General Manager of Marketing & Communications of PT EMI, explained that through this discussion event, Mazda Indonesia combines the values of beauty and perfection in every detail of their vehicle, as seen in the fashion works designed by Jeffrey Tan.

"Through this synergy of creativity, we not only present Mazda cars as vehicles, but also as moving works of art that combine philosophy and aesthetics," Pramita said in an official statement on Tuesday, August 15.

In his fashion design, Jeffrey revealed that he intends to show works with a premium and elegant impression. This is reflected in the selection of pieces of clothing that adopt the draftery cutting.

Although this dress looks simple and practical, the actual value appears when the dress moves, resulting in an amazing effect.

Jeffrey added that the results of his collaboration with Mazda Indonesia allowed him to create elegant, luxurious, and perfect clothing.

"We want to convey a message that is of high quality and appears without advantage. Even so, when the clothes move, the resulting effects are amazing," said Jeffrey.

This outfit also reflects one of Mazda's concepts, namely Kodo. This concept presents a feminine impression and a gentle flow. Jeffrey explained that Kodo has the meaning of the flow, which is reflected in his fashion design with a elegant silhouette.

"The design of his own philosophy is in line with Mazda's concept, namely Kodo, which describes the flow. This clothing silhouette flows forward," said Jeffrey.

This is not the first time Mazda Indonesia has collaborated with this fashion designer. Previously, Mazda and Jeffrey Tan had worked together to create the Takumi Jacket and four other clothes in Jinba-Ittai's collection, which combines the automotive and fashion industry at the 2023 Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week (GJAW) event.

Previously, Mazda and Jeffrey Tan had presented fashion designs at the Jakarta Fashion Week (JFW) 2023.
